HKEDU provides a personalized tailor-made class to progress your child through the Cambridge English system. The program is designed to enhance speaking, listening, writing and reading comprehension through interactive activities with an emphasis on one-to-one communication.
Our blended approach provides a link between home based and class-based learning and prepares children for the Cambridge English Young Learner Exam.
Our NET Native English Teacher Native English Teacher Services provide a multitude of themed lessons needed for the test including such topics as sports, hobbies and animals to name a few. These intensive courses are designed to help build a strong foundation for students to reach the following aims:
- An increased level of English oral skills.
- Better understanding of phonics and intonation resulting in more accurate pronunciation.
- Refining of the four core skills of speaking, reading, writing and listening.
- Increased confidence in the student’s ability in preparation for their Cambridge English Examination.
Starters
At this level, children need to:
- recognize colours in English.
- answer very simple questions about themselves.
- write short one-word answers to basic questions.
Movers
At this level, children need to:
- understand basic instructions in English.
- fill out a simple form or respond to questions about themselves.
- answer questions and write down simple facts (such as days of the week, times or names) they hear or read in children’s stories.
Flyers
At this level, children need to:
- explain the differences between two stories or pictures.
- write or tell a short story in English.
- ask questions and use the past tense.
